These windows and doors were installed this week for a customer in Faversham. A total of 3 casement windows, French door and 2 Victorian style windows completed the installation. The internal timber window boards, liners and architraves were left in place in the lounge to keep the original period features.
These windows and doors were completed for a local builder in Herne bay.The front windows were installed with Victorian style windows to appease local planning. Casement windows were used on the side and rear.
Two composite doors to the front and French doors to the rear. All windows were installed with True fit tape. This product will make the windows 23% more energy efficient compared to sealing windows with silicone.
These windows and doors were installed for a builder near Dover. Eight windows, 2 sets bi folding doors, 2 sets of French doors, a Solidor composite front door and a 3 part bay window completed the installation.

These French doors and side lights were installed last week for a customer in Minster near Ramsgate.The opening was made wider by removing the two small walls to make way for a wider set of French doors with opening side windows.
The inside plaster work was made good and an oak threshold board was fitted to the floor.
Three windows and a composite door were also installed all with True Fit tape. The whole job took 3 days to complete.
These hand made timber doors were completed for a customer near herebay. They were made from British columbian Pine and fitted with double glazed A rated units.The frames were hand painted for a more tradidional look to complement this property.
Five doors in total were replaced which have made a big improvement keeping the drafts out and the heat in.
These windows and doors were completed on Monday for a customer in Hernebay. The windows and doors were installed with a new product called Truefit which is stuck to the side of the windows and doors before they are installed. Once the tape is exposed to the air it expanse side ways taking up any gaps leaving a water tight seal without the need for silicone. This also makes the windows installed 25% more energy efficient leaving no gaps around the window.

Completed this Light oak on white French door today for an existing customer near Folkestone. The old timber door had become very drafty and was in need of up dating.The new Rehau French door was fitted with the latest security barrels which are anti drill, anti bump, anti pick and anti snap.
One course of bricks were removed to lower the threshold to reduce tripping out of door.
The doors will open 180 degrees back onto brick work giving a larger opening with the doors out the way.
The end of another week working for a customer in Canterbury completing a job which we had fitted a French door, window and Bi folding door. All the units were fitted with integral blinds in between the glass. These blinds are a brilliant product which come in a range of different colours, they can be adjusted up or down and tilted open or closed. They are operated by a magnet at the side of the unit.
The Bi fold door was installed on a oak timber threshold board with a room divider threshold to the bottom track which allows for a minimal step between the lounge and conservatory.
The French door was also fitted with a similar threshold although this was fitted on a 150mm window cill.
The job took 2 days to complete and the old pvc double glazed frames were recycled.
On Monday Pete and Charlie completed this French door and two side lights in Yorkletts near Whitstable. The brick work was removed below the existing window and the internal revels and floor were made good ready for painting.
Although this was the only window in the lounge by putting in side lights with opening windows this will allow ventilation without having to open the French doors which will be beneficial more in the colder months.
The French doors and side lights really do make the lounge look bigger and bring much more natural light into the room, with the added benefit of being able to open both doors and fold right back 180 degrees.
All the debris was removed from site the old window frame was recycled and the whole job took a day to complete.
